PROJECTS
funded by Hamraborg Festival

A performative continuation of our first workshop in 2021. The performance reacts through costumes site-specific to the artworks and the building itself, breaking the authority of the institution. The half-hour-long performance implemented the first attempts of audience activation and disruption of conventional stage concepts: There was never a front or back, we continuously broke the line of the audience to open up new spaces and shift the attention throughout the duration.

Costumes were handed to the audience beforehand to be placed within the exhibition space based on a few site-specific tasks like “Place the costume in a place the security cameras can’t see them”. We compiled those costumes as a reaction to the artworks and added drawings or text fragments based on previous improvisations in the space.
