PROJECTS
runtime: 1,5 years
funded by the European Union

was a one-and-a-half-year-long project fostering integration and building relationships between migrants and local residents through artistic practices rooted in movement improvisation and theatre practices. By providing a space for expression, exchange, and togetherness, we aimed to create opportunities for cultural exchange and dialogue, which can promote greater understanding and appreciation of diverse cultures. First, the project took the form of weekly workshops led by us, including a notebook for the participants. This series was then concluded by a community performance at Grófin – City Library of Reykjavík, created together with the participants. Through the process, we continued to exchange practices with our Polish partners through online meetings and in-person gatherings in Poland and Iceland. After the performance, all educators gathered methods, tools and practices they used in the process and created an online platform that serves as a toolkit for anyone interested in improvisation, and is published online.
